These works explore language as a structure and architecture for our felt experience of the present moment and the ‘simulated’ reality of our subjective experience. Language as a code or mind virus that filters and organizes our perceptions. Language as a simulacra for the real and signposts towards direct felt existence of the moment of sensory presence of reality. Language as a brush stroke to paint the mind and soul into a portrait of experience. The painting of language as a representation of the world beyond us that can both cut us off from the the reference it’s originally connected to as well as amplify our experience of it through a poetic wielding of self, subjectivity, and communication.
